Curriculum Summary
The curriculum summary document sets out what students in each year will study each half term in the subject. It details the key knowledge that will be covered, the key vocabulary which will be taught, the curriculum assessments that will be undertaken, the links to personal development, and rationale as to why students are studying this content at this point of their learning journey. 

Subject Intent

This subject intent statement sets out the intent that each subject has and the vision for the subject at Spen Valley High School. 

Excellence Statement

The excellence statement sets out what an excellent student in the subject will be able to do by the end of their studies. 

Qualifications and Revision Websites

This section of the subject page sets out the specific exam board qualification(s) that the subject offers. It provides a link to the exam board specification in addition to other websites that will be helpful for students and parents to access.
