Throughout the year we host a variety of events here at Spen, opening our doors to the families of our students, future students, local primary schools and the wider community. You can see some of the events that we host and have been part of by clicking the link to the event galleries below:
Extra-curricular clubs aren't just a great way to try something different outside of lessons, but allow students to meet different people, gain new skills and help students create a balance between studying and social time. Our extra-curricular offer changes every term and parents/carers need to give consent for students to stay participate via Evolve.

Trips and Cultural Capital
Some of the trips for students form part of the Curriculum or support the delivery of the it, however we also provide new opportunities for students to develop their knowledge beyond what is on the National Curriculum – this is their Cultural Capital. It involves a variety of additional opportunities outside lessons.
