Our Staff

We have a great team of teaching and support staff here at Spen Valley, all working hard, to provide the best possible environment in which our students can learn and develop.

Senior Team - Responsible for the running of the school and the management of all staff

Safeguarding Staff - Manage the wellbeing of our students and liaise with outside agencies when required to ensure the safety of our students.

Pastoral Staff - Manage the day to day wellbeing of our students and keeping an eye on punctuality, attendance and behaviour.  They are the first point of contact for our students and parents.

Teaching Staff - Providing our students with the knowledge and experience they need to achieve their potential.

Teaching Assistants/Inclusion Support - Working with our students, often those with SEN who need that additional support to help them access the curriculum.

Support Staff - Often working in the background our support staff provide a huge service to enable the school to run smoothly.
