Who are we?

Huddersfield Town Foundation (HTF) are the official charity of Huddersfield Town Football Club (HTAFC). We work in schools across Kirklees and Calderdale providing 41 free breakfast clubs and delivering educational interventions, 1:1 mentoring and workshops. We also provide activities within the community for young people and adults including: Premier League Kicks, adult weight management interventions, disability sport, mental health support and NCS.

What are we providing in half term?

We will be holding a 3 day digital camp on Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st March.

We are delivering a mixture of live, pre-recorded and offline activities for young people to get involved in, activities will include

  • Live PE and football mastery sessions

  • Bake a-long, arts and crafts activities

  • Public speaking workshop

  • Wellbeing session

  • Scavenger Hunts

  • Boxing Fitness

There will be a minimum of two activities per day to get involved in for each age group (primary / secondary)

How will we deliver it?

Sessions will take place via Zoom although some sessions will be launched (like the scavenger hunt) and then students will be encouraged to take their daily exercise with a parent/carer whilst completing the tasks set by the HTF coaches.

Who is it for?

Anyone aged 5-16. Some sessions will be specific to primary school students, others will be specific to secondary school students. Please see the timetables attached with further information. Parents can sign up by completing this form https://form.jotform.com/210751795993368

Once we receive the booking the link to each individual session will be sent directly to the family.

How do your students get involved?

Please share the timetables and jotform link with your students and their families as it will allow them to consent to sharing their contact details with us and we can liaise directly with them to provide the links to the sessions. If you could include our information in your school bulletin or newsletter that would be greatly appreciated.
