Attachment Secure

Spen Valley as a school is well on its way to becoming an Attachment Secure School.

We are extremely proud to have been accepted onto the Alex Timpson Programme where all staff are receiving training on how to understand our students and how best to support them.  This will allow us to identify barriers to learning and work with students to make them feel safe and secure, building relationships and trust to ensure they have the tools they need to learn and develop.
